Let's go shear some sheep!

I need to figure out this picture thing, so I'll just post about our latest adventure-- the Sheep Shearing Festival in Waltham, MA. It was kind of weird, seeing a farm in Boston... but fun. Claire had a grand time seeing those funny, big nosed stinky animals and sampling the sugar free homemade jams. I was most impressed by the sheep dogs, border collies I think. Man, sheep are stupid, reminds me of a certain story (Matthew 18). Tom was ecstatic to meet up with his friends the goats. It allowed him time to visit his former self, goat boy. Sigh... (AH, I have a leech on my arm! Oh, it's just Claire...) Other highlights included hot apple crisp with ice cream, and the 4H girls-- SO CUTE. Ha, Tom's a sucker, he totally bought a $5 candy bar. Ok, maybe it was $2 but the girl sure didn't have to try very hard. I'm gonna miss Boston, and all the farms...
